Swine flu (h1n1) Symptoms

- People affecteded with Swine flu shows similar symptoms to regular flu. The main difference is that Swine Flu shows less phlegm and mucus production and it produces higher fever or contradictorily, no fever at all in some cases. It attacks the respiratory and digestive systems more aggresively.

List of common symptoms:

- High fever (from 39 celsius degrees - 102 Fahrenheit)
- Dry cough
- Sore throat
- Body aches
- Head aches
- Burning eyes
- Chills
- Fatigue

And may include:

- Diarreah
- Vomiting

There are emergency signs that should alert you, if any of these is present contact immediatly your health provider:

On children

- Fast breathing
- Troubled breathing
- Blueish skin colour
- Not drinking enough fluids
- Irritable mood
- Fever with rash
- Flu-like symptoms that improve but return with worst cough and fever

In adults:

- Difficulty breathing
- Shorteness of breath
- Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
- Sudden dizziness
- Confusion
- Severe persisting vomiting
